Will win if we fight jointly with BJP and TIPRA Motha, says IPFT

The Indian political party, the BJP, has an ally in the state of Tripura called the IPFT. The IPFT is still undecided on its partnership for the February 16 assembly election in the state, but firmly believes that a new collaboration model of BJP-IPFT-Tipra Motha could sweep the polls. Tribal-based party, the IPFT, which formed the government in the state through a prepoll alliance with BJP in 2018 is talking to both its present partner and the Tipra Motha led by Royal Scion, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, on a new partnership deal. Reang said a final shape to the alliance model might be given in the coming few days. Meanwhile, Tipra Motha has also approached BJP for a conditional electoral partnership. Its leader, Pradyot Bikram Manikya Debbarma, had met Assam Chief Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, in New Delhi on Thursday last week and proposed an alliance but wanted an assurance in writing from the Centre for greater Tipraland State.
