‘Will move SC if needed in Arnamai Bora rape case’

The state government will move the supreme court if needed after examining the Gauhati high court judgment pronounced last month in the alleged Arnamai Bora 59 rape and murder case. Bora, a government school teacher was allegedly raped and murdered when she was returning home from school the incident took place in 2017 in Hojai district one Moinul Hoque was convicted by the court of additional district and sessions judge Hojai with a death sentence while another accused Salim Uddin was convicted with rigorous imprisonment of five years after the conviction by the lower court in 2018 the duo moved the high court which set aside the death sentence of Moinul.
