Three drug peddlers held in Dibrugarh

Three people were arrested for selling drugs in Dibrugarh, and they were found to have 354 grams of heroin and cash worth Rs. 54 lakh. Five phones and two vehicles were also confiscated from the suspects. The operation was led by an additional SP, and was assisted by the officer in charge of the Lahowal Police Station and the Incharge of Mohanbari Police Outpost. The suspects have been identified as Rupjit Baruah, a resident of Makum in Tinsukia District, Udipta Borah, a resident of Titabar in Jorhat District, and Mukul Borah, a resident of Titabar in Jorhat District. A case has been filed against the trio at the Dibrugarh Police Station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act 1985.
