The Telangana Congress has promised to provide electric scooters to every girl student of 18 years of age and above, as part of its 'Hyderabad Youth Declaration' charter of commitments. The party also pledged to recognise young men and women who died during the first and final phases of the movement for Telangana as a separate state as martyrs. Other commitments include giving one family member a government job and a monthly pension of Rs 25,000 to the martyr's mother or father or spouse.
