A Special Court (Prevention of Corruption Act) in Aizawl district on Monday sentenced Rongura, former superintendent of excise and narcotics, Serchhip district, to five years in prison and fined him Rs 1.8 crore, while former assistant accounts officer of Serchhip treasury, Suakngura, was sentenced to 4 years' imprisonment and a fine of Rs 1 lakh.
