Eligibility Criteria

Name of Posts: Account Officer

Age: 30 years

Qualification: A degree from a recognized university or institute and at least three years of experience in Cash, Account, and Budget work in a Government Office/PSU/Autonomous body/Statutory Body.

Name of Posts: Library Assistant

Age: 30 years

Qualification: A degree in Library Bachelor’s Science or Library and Information Science of a recognized University/Institute, along with two years of experience in a library of repute. Additionally, a diploma in computer applications from a recognized university or institute is desirable.

Name of Posts: Academic Assistant

Age: 28 years

Qualification: A master’s degree in Hindi or English of a recognized university, with English as a subject at the bachelor’s degree level for those who possess a master’s degree in Hindi and Hindi as a subject at the bachelor’s degree level for those who possess a master’s degree in English. Candidates with experience in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, B.Ed., and knowledge in computer applications are desirable.

Age: 30 years

Qualification: A B.Com degree from a recognized university and experience of maintenance of accounts for at least three years. Additionally, good knowledge of Hindi/English is required.

Name of Posts: Junior Stenographer

Age: 27 years

Qualification: 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university, along with skill test norms of dictation for 10 minutes at 80 words per minute in shorthand English or Hindi and transcription (Only Computer) for 50 minutes (English) and 65 minutes (Hindi). Candidates with skill of shorthand (Dictation & Transcription) in both English and Hindi as per the speed indicated in essential qualifications are desirable.

Name of Posts: Proof Reader

Age: 27 years

Qualification: A graduate with Hindi as one of the subjects of study and proficiency in proofreading. Additionally, good knowledge of English is required. Candidates with at least six months of professional experience at an established printing press, publication concern, or textbook production agencies are desirable.

Name of Posts: Technical Assistant (Publication)

Age: 28 years

Qualification: A Hindi master’s degree in Linguistics of a recognized university and functional knowledge of English. Candidates with experience in translation from Hindi to English and vice versa, and experience in proofreading and press publication work are desirable.

Name of Posts: Lower Division Clerk

Age: 27 years

Qualification: 12th class or equivalent qualification from a recognized board or university, along with English typing @ 35 words per minute and Hindi typing @ 30 words per minute on the computer. Candidates with typing knowledge in both English and Hindi languages at the speed indicated in essential qualifications above are desirable.

Name of Posts: Library Clerk

Age: 27 years

Qualification: Intermediate or equivalent from a recognized institution and a certificate in Library Science from a recognized institution. Candidates with experience of Hindi/English Typing are desirable.

Salary Details

Exam Pattern & Syllabus:

The Kendriya Hindi Sansthan Recruitment 2023 exam will consist of 100 multiple choice questions (MCQs) with a total of 100 marks. The exam will cover the following subjects:

1. General Hindi – 20 questions for 20 marks
2. General English – 20 questions for 20 marks
3. Common Sense – 20 questions for 20 marks
4. Computer knowledge – 20 questions for 20 marks
5. Thematic (According to the post) – 20 questions for 20 marks

• The skill test/typing test for Stenography and clerical category will be of 50 marks. Type test will be taken on computer.
• Skill test for the post of Stenographer will be taken as per recruitment rules.
• Applicants who qualify in the written test conducted for Stenography and Clerical category will be allowed to appear in the skill test/ typing test. Applicants passed in written test and skill test / typing test will be invited for interview on the basis of merit list.
• For other posts, candidates who qualify in the written test (other than skill test) will be called for interview.
