The affidavit should also include the timeline for completion of the schemes, availability of funds for execution of the projects, and interim arrangements if any made for supplying drinking water to the residentsthe bench of justice Suman Shyam and justice Susmita Phukan Khaund was hearing a petition filed by Chiriyakhana Path Jyestho Nagarik Sanshta’ a senior citizens’ forum flagging the burning issue of potable drinking water crisis in the city. The court observed that “despite a number of projects being floated by the government the residents are yet to get proper supply of drinking water”.
