Earn respect, don’t demand it: New DGP to cops
The new DGP of Guwahati, Gyanendra Pratap Singh, is urging the state police personnel to earn respect by working sincerely and being peoplefriendly. He also requested the police to provide a platform where people can exchange thoughts and ideas and contact them easily. He asked the police to respect and value the dignity of juniors at work, and to ensure proper working environment for policewomen across the state right from the outposts to the headquarters.
