Bengal active Covid cases breach 3-digit mark after four months

The active Covid count in Bengal has touched the three-digit mark - the first time in four months - even as experts said there was no reason to panic now. The last time Bengal had active cases in three digits was on November 24, 2022, after which the number came down to double digits and remained there before it started rising and touched three digits on March 31. On Sunday, the state had 127 active cases, 14 of them from the past 24 hours.
